Yoga Flow

 

I teach an alignment based style of yoga, and a general focus on bodies that are more active, but all bodies are welcome! My classes are focused around the Sun Salutes (Surya Namaskar), which are a Vinyasa - a continuous flow of poses that link movement and breath.

Yoga Flow develops both strength and flexibility, whilst also bringing balance to mind and body.

Not only wonderful for your physical health, Yoga has the amazing power to increase your mental wellbeing, and reduce stress. I will weave in ways to address this within our yoga sessions, so you will leave my classes feeling balanced, both inside and out.


Gentle Flow Yoga Group Class

In-person

Gentle Flow Yoga: In these classes you can be a beginner, or a more advanced yogi, as I will give modifications to the poses.

We will move at a steady pace, practising short sequences of flowing poses to bring body awareness, relieve stress, and bring body and mind into balance.

Dynamic Flow Yoga Group Class

Dynamic Flow Yoga: If you have some yoga experience, and enjoy being encouraged to work that little bit harder to really feel the benefits of a strong yoga practice, then this is the class for you!

We will progressively deepen your yoga practice, adding more in depth poses, and longer flow sequences, to build your strength and functional mobility/flexibility.

If you have done little or no yoga before, I recommend that you start with my Gentle Flow Yoga classes.

Good Morning Yoga Online Class

My Good Morning Yoga class is suitable for all levels as modifications will be given depending on your ability.

I take you through a short sequence of poses to wake up body and mind!

(Via Zoom with your camera off, so you can be in PJs!)

  • Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30am to 7:50am

    From Monday 5/9/22 and Wednesday 7/9/22, until Monday 10/10/22 and Wednesday 12/10/22

  • 20 minutes, twice a week for 6 weeks

  • Zoom

If you can’t commit to a block of classes, I now offer the option to ‘drop in’ when your diary permits!

Perhaps you’re coming to yoga as you are curious as to what yoga is and what it can do for you. Or maybe you’re coming to recover following an injury and you want to increase movement around some stiffness. Perhaps you know you don’t stretch enough post-workout/run/sport and you feel like yoga will be a good ‘rest day’ activity. Or you just love yoga!

Your reasons for joining me on the mat can vary. What matters is that once you’re there, we keep your body moving in a way that’s comfortable for you, and it benefits from all the wonderful things that yoga can do for you.

If you’re not comfortable joining a group class yet, or you’re not based in Windsor, I encourage you to book a private session where we can go over your goals and history, and I will show you how to modify any postures that aren’t comfortable for you.
